ZMUD is a contemporary art gallery based in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Founded in 2017 by Larisa Zmud, the project had its beginnings in 2011 under the name of SlyZmud. Currently, there are two multi-purpose exhibition spaces where an annual program of five projects is carried out in each. The space also serves as a venue for tertulias, art-driven discussions about the current exhibit, and for non-visual-art performances during the month of July.
Zmud considers itself a space to think, produce, experiment and commercialize art, and understands that the network growth of artists, collectors, critics and curators is imperative to achieve the expansion and development of Buenos Aires into the international art scene.
