ZMUD is a contemporary art gallery based in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Founded in 2017 by Larisa Zmud, the project had its beginnings in 2011 under the name of SlyZmud. It currently has two exhibition spaces where an annual program of five projects is carried out in each. The space also serves as a venue for “tertulias,” art-driven discussions about each exhibition, and for a non-strictly-visual art programm called 'Smooth' during the month of July.
Zmud considers itself a space to think, produce, experiment and commercialize art, and understands that the network growth of artists, collectors, critics and curators is imperative to achieve the expansion and development of Buenos Aires into the international art scene.
